can't get gnash to work

i installed everything, 0.7.1, the plugin went to ~/.mozilla/plugins. it shows up when i do about

lugins in firefox:

but nothing appears on flash sites, or else it says i need flash 8. how do i get this thing working as a plugin?

I had the same experience on Debian ... gave up easily.

Why don't you try this one, and tell us if it works.
