Esetroot can do transparency, while the others cannot, so if you want transparent consoles/menus, go with Esetroot. You don't have to use Eterm for the transparency, though. Personally, I recommend Aterm, since it leaves a VERY small memory footprint, which matteres for me 'cause I play alot of games (I like getting every byte of memory freed if I can ). Aterm can also do transparency and all the other stuff, but it doesn't have menus, it uses command line options instead.

EDIT: Fluxbox 0.1.14 is very old, 0.9.9 is way better, try that.

Didn't see the date. Just posting to help, but thanks anyway. Hehe, I usually don't look at the dates .
