Cant find home directory?

I upgraded to RH9 from RH 8 and now when i login as root i cant see my user home directory anywhere its not there at all. How can this be? I can login to my user directory and do stuff so i know its there but the root dosnt see it anymore. What would cause this? thanks

root can't see root's home, or root can't see
other users home?

what path to home are you using when you try to see it in root? try something like /home or /usr/home
