Mine looks like this:

other=/dev/hda1
label=Windows
table=/dev/hda

and it works fine.

My Linux section, however, is quite different from yours:

image=/boot/vmlinuz
label=Mandrake
root=/dev/hda9
initrd=/boot/initrd.img
append=" hdc=ide-scsi hdf=ide-floppy devfs=mount quiet"
vga=788
read-only

Try editiing your lilo.conf file (as root) and then running lilo (as root).

Oh, my complete lilo.conf file:

boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
vga=normal
default=Windows
keytable=/boot/uk.klt
lba32
prompt
timeout=50
message=/boot/message
menu-scheme=wb:bw:wb:bw
image=/boot/vmlinuz
label=Mandrake
root=/dev/hda9
initrd=/boot/initrd.img
append=" hdc=ide-scsi hdf=ide-floppy devfs=mount quiet"
vga=788
read-only
image=/boot/slack8
label=Slackware
root=/dev/hda13
vga=788
read-only
image=/boot/debian
label=Debian
root=/dev/hda14
read-only
#image=/boot/vmlinuz
# label=linux-nonfb
# root=/dev/hda9
# initrd=/boot/initrd.img
# append=" hdc=ide-scsi hdf=ide-floppy devfs=mount"
# read-only
#image=/boot/vmlinuz
# label=failsafe
# root=/dev/hda9
# initrd=/boot/initrd.img
# append=" hdc=ide-scsi hdf=ide-floppy devfs=mount failsafe"
# read-only
other=/dev/hda1
label=Windows
table=/dev/hda
other=/dev/fd0
label=Floppy
unsafe

One quick question, was Windows on the second harddisk prior to you installing Linux?

Try adding this to the end of your lilo.conf file:

table=/dev/hdb
map-drive=0x80
to=0x81
map-drive=0x81
to=0x80

It remapped your hda and hdb drives making windows believe it was hda instead of hdb. Windows likes to be on hda and this just tricks it into believing that it is.
