Cannot use RZ

I frequently SSH to several servers, and it would be nice to use RZ instead of FTP to transfer files to the server. I used RZ when I was on Windows, but cannot under Linux. I've tried in both Suse and Kubuntu. I installed the "lrzsz" package, which enables me to use SZ, but not RZ. Has anyone been able to use RZ from a Linux client?

I will be no help with "lrzsz" as I had trouble with it when I tried to use it.
You may want to try "scp". There is a PuTTY version of "scp" for Windows.
