Cannot retrieve repository metadata

I have a fresh install of Fedora 10 and I'm finding that When I go to add remove software I keep getting this message.

Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: updates. Please verify its path and try again.

I'm connected to the Internet and everything else looks good.

Any Idea's
Thanks

this probably happens due to absence of the fedora 10 media. clearing off the tick mark beside the cd/dvd-rom option in the repository list may solve the problem.

Go into Add/Remove Software menu option, there's an Edit option once you're in.
