cannot play mp3 files on suse 8.0

Hi everyone, I am new into the linux world, I've just install suse 8.0 on my pc, but I do not have sound when playing mp3 files using xmms , but Audio CDs are ok.
Please can anybody tell suggests me what to do.

Go to www.xmms.org and get the mpg123 codec.
