Cannot open Opera 6

Well, I installed opera outside of X as root, and it installed fine with no errors whatsoever. Going into X (XCFE is the GUI im using), it shows up, but will not load. Does not give an error, just looks like its going to load but does absolutely nothing. The distro I am running is Slackware 8.1, 2.4.18 kernel (bare.i).

Any ideas on how to get it to open?

EDIT: Changed subject to Opera 6. Maybe I will get a reply now.

I just thought I would add this after trying something in the console.

I tried loading it through the console as the install said by doing /usr/bin/opera and I get this error:

/usr/lib/opera/6.11-20021129.2/opera: error while loading shared libraries: libqt.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Weird. I installed it twice with no errors by the way. This is running on an NEC Versa 5080 laptop if anyone needs to know that. 233mhz, 96mb ram, 2.1gb hd.
