cannot login

Hi Everyone,

Every time I try to login with ANY account (including root), I end up back at the login page. Even I've changed the root password thru sinlge booting. Please help!!!

by the way, my distro is fedora 6

Might the X server be crashing? Did you change the X configurations in any way before these problems started?

it was started after I installed x-lite then a quack user turned off the power without shutting down from the system. When the user came back and turned his pc on. He just first noticed the problem....

Hi,

anybody here knows how to mount a secondary hard drive? Tried to mount hdc2 but it gives me this error wrong fs type... even on these commands got the same error

mount -t ext3 /dev/hdc2 /mnt/hdd

tried also check with fdisk -l /dev/hdc and got these results
