Cannot get Java to work with Pogo.com

Here are my system specs. Let me know if you need more info:

Ubuntu Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala (Ver. 2.6.31-16-generic)
Java enabled Firefox 3.5.6
Per Sun Microsystems I'm running Java 6 Update 15 (http://www.java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml)

Installed packages:
java-common
sun-java6-bin
sun-java-6-jre
sun-java-6-plugin

I also tried installing sun-java-6-jdk but that didn't help. Icedtea not installed.

Thanks for all your help!

I'm sorry, what exactly is your question? Is the java plugin in firefox not working for you? Can you check url about:plugins in firefox? Can you check Tools->Add-ons->Plugins in firefox?

Here are the results from Firefox: (upgraded to Shiretoko/3.5.8pre)

aboutlugins - http://pastebin.com/m40c4163d
Tools->Add-ons->Plugins: Java Plug-in 1.6.0_18

Despite this, pogo.com tells me that Java is not installed and then Firefox crashes. I also tried it with Chrome but pogo.com prompts me to install Java. Any ideas?

I don't know what pogo is, but maybe it runs on Adobe Flash, not Java?
