cannot fix a SVN problem

Dell 1850, SVN-1.4.5 RHEL-AS4U5

When I try to checkout a specified version from our repositories, I got an error like this:
svn: REPORT request failed on 'http://localhost:8080/nlp'
svn: REPORT of 'http://localhost:8080/nlp': Could not read chunk size: connection was closed by server. (http://localhost:8080)

How can I fix it please? I searched around and found nothing?
