Arrow cannot find -lmysqlclient


i install MySQL-client-standard-5.0.27-0.rhel3.i386.rpm in redhat9.0

this file is running in the freebsd4.11 and mysql4.1.7 , now is in update , so running in the redhat 9

i am getting the error while running my make file

make -f Makefile_adm
g++ -o adm.cgi -O0 -g -pthread -DCASINO_TWIST -DTARGET_UNIX -DMYSQL5 -DNOTHREAD -DCASINO_TWIST -L/usr/lib/mysql -L/usr/local/lib ../src/adm/mSSIService.o ../src/adm/mMain.o

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lmysqlclient
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [index] Error 1


can u tell me what are the changes should be done

Make sure you install the MySQL dev tools as well...
