Question Cannot find Linux Filezilla in any of my comp. files. I dowloaded it twice.

I went to Filezilla and clicked the download button under Linux. It ammediatley said it was downloaded. I have a windows XP. I cannot find where it is in my computer. I've even searched all files and folders and it doesn't come up. I then tried to download again..same thing. Does any one have any idea as to where it went and how I can open the file?

If you want to use it in XP, you need to use the windows version.
BTW did you used the search option in XP?

as i recall one of the default places a file MIGHT DL to is
c:\WINDOWS\temp , or c:\Documents an settings/ "user name" / temp .
but it might BE ANY tmp folder that is set up
from the windows cmd.exe run " echo $TMP " or echo $TEMP "

for instance i have a MinGW tmp set up that windows also uses c/GnuWin32/MinGW/tmp

check your system settings to find the two or 3 or 4 tmp files in the system
