Cannot connect to WinXP shares from samba on a Suse 9.1 box
 

Hi all,

I have recently upgraded my main computer to Windows XP. When it was windows 98 I could mount my windows shares on linux using the following command in /etc/fstab:

//ROBPC/D /mnt/D smbfs username=robin,password=******

I changed that to use a valid XP username and password and it doesn't work.

I have tried smbclient -L ROBPC -U Robin and I give it the correct password and it fails with the error "session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_TYPE_NOT_GRANTED".

Any ideas on what I should do to try and get it working again?
