can you have a process as a background instead of a image

Hello,

I have been using slackware for a few years now and use either bsetroot or bsetbg to set my background image in fluxbox.

But I want to know if I can make a process my back ground and not a image. I am not sure if this is clear but imagine that when you start your window manager your screen background is actually a built in rxvt terminal. So you can just start typing on your screen.

I hope I made it clear , I have tried starting X with out a window manager and only starting a ternimal but the I do not have a right click menu.

Michael
