Can Thunar file manager "look good" in KDE, Fluxbox

I installed Thunar file manager, but it only looks ok (i.e. recognizes file types, has a specific window style) in xfce. In KDE, Fluxbox, etc, it has one generic icon for every file and folder, and the window style is kind of ugly. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Um... do you have a GTK theme? I think that's what it uses. If you've already loaded KDE's bloatedness though, Konqueror should only use a few hundred megs of RAM. Could you used that? I used Thunar in Fluxbox and it looked fine. Could you post a link to a snapshot?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean... I use KDE's default theme. It's called Plastic, I think. Should I use some other theme?

Here what Thunar looks like in

KDE themes are QT. You're going to want to go here to get the GTK theme to match QT. As for the icons, I have no idea. Do you have XFCE installed on the machine you're using Thunar on?

You can add a line in

~/.gtkrc-2.0

that specifies what icon theme to use. I just added this

gtk-icon-theme-name="gperfection2"

Of course you must change the name of theme in quotes with the icon theme that you have installed and that you want to use. It works perfectly with Thunar.
