Can Squid Proxy cache dynamic web content generated by POST method?

We have a web app built on top of Tomcat. I'm looking to cache the resulting HTML that's sent to the browser so we can demo it in the field without connecting to the live Tomcat server. Either that or put it on the file system so if we have a separate production issue, it won't affect the demo.

Can Squid capture the POST http submissions and then manage the cache of resulting html responses? I know GET would be a snap, but from the research I've done, I don't see anything indicating this is possible with POST method. IBM has a websphere plugin that appears to do this job, but that's not our architecture.

Any ideas appreciated!

Is there a spidering tool that can hit form posts and cache the resulting html? Anyone know of something easily configurable that can be scripted with logic to pass date ranges and a few other form fields to spider a website?

any suggestions appreciated!
