Can someone help me setup webserver?

Hello, Im running SuSE 9.3 with Apache2, I have made 3 vhosts thriftyserve.conf and two others.

The problem is that the first one imaginativefinishes.conf gets read first so no matter which domain I type they all resolve to imaginativefinishes.conf

Heres the situation,
Im on cable modem, my ip address rarely changes (it changed yesterday when I got a new router, but for the year before that, it never changed)

All windows machines hooked up to the router have static ip's setup up in windows xp.

I think I've setup a static ip in SuSE

Can someone go step by step and tell me what I have to do to get this webserver to resolve each virtual domain that I put on it. I must be leaving out something.

Im starting to pull my hair out already.

Thanks if you can help.

It sounds like Apache thinks your config isn't proper and only loads the first config, hence it will redirect all requests to what it knows about the first domain. Try 'apachectl configtest'.

Have a look at www.dyndns.com for routing your dynamic IP.
Also read the Suse Apache doc here http://www.novell.com/documentation/...suse10_ref.pdf
