Can someone give me a copy of SuSe10.1 for x64 systems in MUMBAI, INDIA.

hi all,

im new to linux and want to try it out on my system. i was recommended SuSe by a friend and decided to get it. since i have an AMD Athlon64 based PC i decided to go with the x64 version of SuSe. however with my limited download speed i cannot download it without corruptions. i would be really grateful if someone could give me a copy of the 5 CDs or the DVD for the x64 version of SuSe 10.1 in Mumbai, India. (i will, naturally pay for the blank media used.)

i hope some good linux user in my city can help me out with this because im really attracted to linux.

thanx a lot.

You could also use bit torrent to download them. This would allow you to download fragments while you are on-line over the course of several days.

Being on dialup, it may be better to try to download the CDs instead. If someone local sends you the CDs or DVDs that will work also. You can install if you only have 3 of the CSs. In some countries like Russia, computer users are charged by the minute or data transmitted, so downloading CDs or DVDs is an option.

yeah ur right. even though im not charged on time or download the speed is so slow it takes me more than 2 days to download a
cd. no guarantee of a corruptionless download either, which is y i'd really love if some local linux lover reads my post and has what i need.

Thanks
