Can somebody check my dvd filesystem layout?

I've used dvdauthor to try to make a file system for a video dvd, but I'm not sure if I've done it correctly. The last dvd I tried to burn didn't work on anything, so I'm hoping not to make that mistake again. Here is the directory structure:

Code:
-rw-r--r-- 1 loco loco 22528 Mar 5 19:47 VTS_01_0.BUP
-rw-r--r-- 1 loco loco 22528 Mar 5 19:47 VTS_01_0.IFO
-rw-r--r-- 1 loco loco 324519936 Mar 5 19:47 VTS_01_1.VOB
-rw-r--r-- 1 loco loco 22528 Mar 5 19:49 VTS_02_0.BUP
-rw-r--r-- 1 loco loco 22528 Mar 5 19:49 VTS_02_0.IFO
-rw-r--r-- 1 loco loco 326131712 Mar 5 19:49 VTS_02_1.VOB
-rw-r--r-- 1 loco loco 22528 Mar 5 19:51 VTS_03_0.BUP
-rw-r--r-- 1 loco loco 22528 Mar 5 19:51 VTS_03_0.IFO
-rw-r--r-- 1 loco loco 321355776 Mar 5 19:51 VTS_03_1.VOB
-rw-r--r-- 1 loco loco 22528 Mar 5 19:51 VTS_04_0.BUP
-rw-r--r-- 1 loco loco 22528 Mar 5 19:51 VTS_04_0.IFO
-rw-r--r-- 1 loco loco 325730304 Mar 5 19:52 VTS_04_1.VOB
-rw-r--r-- 1 loco loco 22528 Mar 5 19:52 VTS_05_0.BUP
-rw-r--r-- 1 loco loco 22528 Mar 5 19:52 VTS_05_0.IFO
-rw-r--r-- 1 loco loco 320077824 Mar 5 19:52 VTS_05_1.VOB
Can someone tell me if this looks like it could work or not? Thanks for any help.

i see your .vob files so it looks fine...

i have never used dvdauthor, but k3b has a great dvd authoring utility if you want to check that out later on

*edit: by the way, first try to play the dvd on your computer's dvd drive; if your computer can't read it, then it is unlikely that other dvd players will read it

since computer dvd drives are dvd-rom drives, they can read various formats of dvds and can adapt to the several types of dvd recordables out there; however, many dvd players for the tv are unable to do so (it often depends on the type of dvd recordable you use, ie dvd-r vs. dvd+r)

you should use mplayer to check out your dvd's since i found that it is most capable of deciphering cd layouts

Thanks. Maybe I'll just try using k3b this time. Last time, I made an iso via mkisofs and then used k3b to brun it as a regular dvd iso.

Maybe that was my problem.
Thanks for the input.
