Can not find Library libstdc++.so.6(GLIBCXX_3.4)


Hi everyone,

Can anyone give me the download link of libstdc++.so.6(GLIBCXX_3.4). I have searched on http://rpmfind.net and Google but I didn't find this library.

And Installation method also.

I am using RedHat 9 with kernel 2.4.20-8smp.

Hmmm... unfortunately I think you cannot find it because it does not exist. The last version of the standard C++ library for Red Hat 9 was /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5 provided from the package libstdc++-3.2.2-5.i386.rpm, which maybe is already installed on your system. Eventually, you can try to look for updates on the archived RPMs at ftp://archive.download.redhat.com/. Anyway I sincerely doubt you will find it, since - if I remember well - version 6 was introduced in Fedora Core 1 or 2.
