Question Can I user AOL with Linux?

I am running Red Hat 9. Is there any way to use AOL with this? If so, how do I do it? Everything I can find is a Windows executable. Or is there another ISP that would be better. I am needing an ISP that has access numbers across the country.

I'm a newbie so as much detail as possible would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I suggest Earthlink. It requires no special software and is therefore very Linux friendly. The tech support people don't flinch as much when you mension Linux..

Sweet! I never heard of this. I was curious as to weather this would work or not. I always guessed that one could simply configure their ppp conection to simply log into aol and use their service w/o their software and I was looking at one point to find out, however I don't use aol and couldn't prove it. Here I see that I was probably wrong (I have to finish reading the site you posted).
My $.02 is that aol is a bloated corporate whore and I would stay away from her at all costs...however tech is tech and I was still interested
