Can I use Quanta in gnome?

All this talk about Quanta. I'm checking it out: from Gnome.
Is this viable?
Seems to be working fine, but when I click Syntax Check,
I'm getting what I think are bogus errors.

Mebbe I have to load KDE?

All you Quanta voters! Where are you now? Yah, yah, it's Friday night.

You have to have the kde libraries loaded (which rpm should have handled for you). Other than oddball problems, yes, quanta works fine (sometimes there are errors, but the program runs fine, the errors are related to kde-specific functions/expectations).

I've been using quanta for a couple years now, almost never in KDE. :)

I use it for HTML all the time in Fluxbox. Basically, you can run any KDE/Gnome apps in any desktop/window manager as long as the necessary libs are installed.
