Talking can I upgrade suse 8.2 to 9.0 with YAst

I am a newbie and I feel SUSE Linux is more compatible with my hardware than any other Distro.I tried them all.I was just wondering if anyone has upgraded from 8.2 to 9.0 with YAST or do I have to have the CD.And How ?
