Can I set minimizing programs to the systemtray?

Hi!
I would like to get my Evolution email client to minimize to the system tray (down there by klipper and kmix), so that it doesn't take up space on the activityfield when running. Is that only possible to set in respective program or ?

I was having this issue recently -- google a program called "alltray"

Works a lot better in KDE/Gnome than Fluxbox, I'll tell you that

there is a program which minimized programs to tray and it works so easily , the program is AllTray
