Can I install KSH on Fedora 7 which already has bash on it


Hi All,

I want to install KSH on Fedora core 7 and this already has bash shell on it. Can anbody know if this will cause any issues.

Also, where can I get the KSH download for this and how to install this.

Could anybody let me know in detail.

I am doing it now, does it causes any problems with my Fedora core 7. If so what kind of issues I may have and how to resolve it. Any information is greatly appreciated.

so far as I know, ksh is installed all ready in redhat serises, how about the output of 'whereis ksh'

what you have to do is to modify the /etc/passwd and change the default SHELL to /bin/ksh.
