Can I have GCC 3.0 and GCC 4.0 together?

Hi fellas,

This is my first post on this forum. I'm trying 2 implement a Chord algorithm on my laptops which run on SFS. My distribution is Fedora Core 4, and it comes inbuilt with GCC 4.0.The point is SFS website maintains that in order 2 run SFS, i should have GCC 2.95-3.4 on my system. Now I dont wanna remove GCC 4.0, as i need 2 run AODV simulataneously which compiles only with GCC 4.0(some bloody issues with previous version).

The question is can i have GCC 3.0 and 4.0 simulataneously. If so, how do i use any one at any point of time. I mean the steps 4 compiling individually and using them according 2 need. could really use ur input guyz.

Thanx

Simply install them in seperate locations and use the full path to the binary when you want a specific version.
