can I convert adobe illustrator files using a linux package? and using this forum

Dear all,

1 Does anyone know how I can convert Adobe Illustartor files, specifically CS files, into SVG, or come to that any other format using a linux package. The gimp reads the eps (?) bit but flattens the image so you loose the layers etc.

2 How can I look at my previous posts to this forum easily? The only way I have found so far is sorting by submitter and then scrolling till I get to the C's.

To find any users posts, try the "search" function on the LQ menu. There is an option to search for a specific user.
