Can`t boot from CD-ROM

I am having trouble booting my Windows XP cd from CD-rom and I think Its because of the Grub boot loader. Can anyone suggest a way to re-configure the bootloader so it will boot from CD-ROM?

check your bios settings first...

make sure your first boot device is CD-ROM and that the media is not corrupt.

it is. In fact, it says "Boot From CD-ROM" , as if it is booting, then the bootloader screen just pops up

try booting with a windows boot bisk, then go to your cd drive, and execute the setup.exe
