Can't run the ./autogen.sh for giFT


HI, i am new to linux and to the forums. I have tried to find information about my problem but i can't find the solution. While trying to run ./autogen.sh for giFT i get the following error

[adrian@dhcppc1 giFT]$ ./autogen.sh
Running aclocal...
Running autoheader...
/usr/bin/m4: configure.in: No such file or directory
Running autoconf...
autoconf: configure.in: No such file or directory
[adrian@dhcppc1 giFT]$

I am running mandrake 9.1 on a piv .

Thanks in advandce to anybody that will take his time to help me.
