why can’t I do this?
[root@localhost tmp]# su
[root@localhost tmp]# ./solarisstudio.sh
bash: ./solarisstudio.sh: No such file or directory
[root@localhost tmp]#
why? because from what you've shown, that script file is NOT in that directory. In the first ls, you have a tar.bz2 file, but then on the next line it's an RPM? What's that about? Have you decompressed this package, whatever it is?
