Can't print!

Whenever I try to print something, nothing happens. If I use CUPS, it will only print a test page. I am trying to print using turboprint and this is the error message that I get:

Status Information:
sending job 'jlturbos@localhost+299' to printername@localhost
connecting to 'localhost', attempt 1
cannot open connection to localhost - No such file or directory
Make sure the remote host supports the LPD protocol
and accepts connections from this host and from non-privileged (>1023) ports

I have the newest versions of ghostscript and CUPS.

Any help is appreciated!
