Can't launch fluxbox

Hi, I am new to this, so the question maybe silly.
After I install fluxbox, and I type fluxbox to launch it, I have got these error messages:
Code:
Warning: Failed to open catalog, using default messages.
Failed to read: session.tabs
Setting default value
Failed to read: session.slitlistFile
Setting default value
Failed to read: session.groupFile
Setting default value
Failed to load groupfile:
BScreen::BScreen: an error occured while querying the X server.
another window manager already running on display :0.0.
Fluxbox::Fluxbox: no managable screens found, aborting.
Fluxbox: Unknown error.
Can anyone help me about this?
cheers.

Yeah, This is what i had to do, so this will probably work for you.
modify your ~/.xinitrc , if its not there you just make it
put it :
fluxbox
Then save it and type startx and it should just put you back into fluxbox.

you wil have to do that but if you just installed fluxbox you will probably have to use gdm or xdm to switch over to fluxbox because tis not your default desktop

I just realize that fluxbox is a windows manager, I thought it was a software that when you right click white space will pop up a menu for you.

Thanks for reply!
