Can't install setup.sh meant for 32 bit on a 64 bit ubuntu 11.10
I have a setup.sh meant for 32 bit system. I am not able to install it on my ubuntu 11.10 system.
I have already installed ia32-libs and ia32-libs-multiarch:i386
While installing I am getting this error:
The setup program seems to have failed on amd64/unknown
Fatal error, no tech support email configured in this setup

Well, you already know why it's not working...it's for a 32 bit system, and is CHECKING for what system architecture you're using. Since you're on 64 bit, it fails.
You don't give any details (what software are you trying to install? From where?), so there's not much we can tell you. You can try to open the script and figure out where it's doing the architecture check, and modify it, but that may not work. The script/software just may not work on 64 bits.
Actually I am tring to install a Oxford Dictionary 8th Edition and i have installed it before on 64 bit system after installing ia32-libs, but this time something go wrong and i am not able to install dictionary.

Ok..that appears to be commercial, pay-for software. Have you contacted their tech support? And what version/distro of Linux did you install it on before? And again, where did you get the software?

Such a script (designed for 32-bit Linux) will typically work correctly in a 64 bit Red Hat based Linux, but fail in a 64-bit Debian based Linux. (Ubuntu is Debian based).
A Linux expert would know how to set up a chroot in a 64-bit Debian based Linux to make a typical 32-bit installer work correctly. I know only almost enough about the topic to blunder through if I was trying it myself. I don't know nearly enough to give instructions.
