Can't install
 

I'd like to install Mandrake 10 to my computer, but I failed. It shows the welcome screen, and told me to press ENTER to install or update, and I did it.
But nothing happen then, the screen goes black and the system halted.
I've tried with Mandrake 9.0 and have the same result.
I ever use RedHat 9 before and it works without any problems.
I wonder whats wrong with my computer, perhaps I must set my BIOS or something.

AMD Athlon 2500+
Asus A7N8X Deluxe
DDR 512 MB
HDD Seagate 80 GB
LiteOn CDRW 52x24x52x
Lemel GeForce MX 440

Sounds as if your are receiving the Vector 0003x... error.

This is mainly due to lack of compatiblity between that Linux Distribution (and/or version) and the motherboard.

Try using Red Hat 9 and/or go to www.mandrake.com and check if your motherboard is located within the support list.
