can't get winrar to work on linux (FC4)

hi there i have a dedicated server with full root access with FC4 installed and i'm trying to get winrar to work thro ssh i've gone to rarlabs.com downloaded "RAR 3.70 for Linux - Command line only" i then extracted the file and tried to unrar a test file i made in the same folder i extracted winrar into with the following command:

./unrar e test.rar

but i get the following error:

./unrar: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by ./unrar)

i'm guessing i need to download some kinda library but i don't know what to download...

As you can read in the error message, you need a glibc library of 2.4 release at least.

anyways i fixed this by using an older version of winrar

Google is your friend... I did a search for GLIBC_2.4 and found many hits.

Usually if you just do a search for the missing library, you should find several places to download the files. Many are configured for your particular distro as well.
