Can't get Kile to work with latex

Hello,

I've installed LaTeX and the package te_latex on my SuSE 8.2 system. Now I'm trying to get Kile working, but for some reason it won't execute any latex-command with the message 'Can't execute command/application'. What is wrong? How can I tell Kile to work proper with latex? Do I have to set some paths in a config-file?

Thanks for your help,
Andre

i also have the some problem.
i'm running Debian Sid and Kile 1.5.
Latex has been installed and used properly.
But kile just keep saying : "Tex File not found!".

i've tried to change the configuration,
but still it didn't help.

thanks in advance for any help.

cheers,
Ade Azurat

it works now

As I've reedited my latex file. Kile doesn't complain any longer... It seemed to be my own fault...
The problem was, that Kile's error message wasn't specific enough. But as I am using version 1.4, there shouldn't be any problems with 1.5.
