Can't get Audacity running, wxGTK misconfigured

Hi! I installed Audacity from a rpm package and for this I had to uninstall wxGTK v2.6 and install wxGTK v2.4 as required by the pagkage.
The problem is that wxGTK can't init properly due to some settings remaining from v2.6 so I get following output when I try to open Audacity:

audacity: Symbol `_ZTV10wxTextCtrl' has different size in shared object,
consider re-linking
audacity: relocation error: audacity: symbol _ZTV17wxEventTableEntry,
version WXGTK_2.4 not defined in file
libwx_gtk-2.4.so.0 with link time reference

So how can this be reset? Help plz, it's urgent

i think its not settings left ove but rather not the right wxGTK package
make sure you use the wxGTK for SUSE

Actually I didn't have the right Audacity RPM

stupid me, i had the fc6 version
So I uninstalled and got the following two packages:
wxGTK-2.6.1.0-4.2.i586.rpm
audacity-1.3.2-2.pm.beta.i586.rpm
and works fine now. thanks
