can't download patches

I'm pretty new to linux but I finished the linux from scratch 6.4,downloaded all packages and patches all in one tarball. Now I'm working on blfs and I can't download any patches, when ever I try to download them it opens in a web browser instead of downloading.

Are you simply "clicking" the link in BLFS? Try using wget to download the patches.
