Calling all cdrecord gurus.

Hey all,

I embarking on a small project for one of my freinds. The project will basically pump out a regular music cd from mp3 files. After converting them to .wav files and burning to cd, a regular cd player can read and play; but i'm having one small problem:

Everytime i run the command:
Code:
#cdrecord -eject dev=4,0,0 -pad -audio *.wav
i get a music cd that is readable by any player, but the music is very scratchy. How can i fix this? I've tried different methods such as different flags passed to cdrecord, different drives, even making the files into individual iso's first then burning as -audio.

Please help. Thanks!

Don't have an answer to your question, but there is a command line program named mp3cd that does exactly that, and normalizes the volume across the entire cd, as well.
