CAD for Linux
I tell you what I would like to see, that's a good professional quality CAD package for Linux. Maybe I haven't been searching in the correct places but so far I've not been able to find a replacement for Auto-Cad. There are some applications out there and I've tried quite a few but they just don't cut it. Its out there I know it just has to be. Till then I will have to keep nt4.0 just to run cad.

About 2 years ago I tried all of the Linux Cad programs and came to the same conclusion that you do. The best of the lot was QCAD: http://www.ribbonsoft.com/qcad.html At the time I did not think that QCAD was industrial strength software. If you have not already tried QCAD then try it. Maybe it has improved enough in the last 2 years to be worth reconsidering. ___________________________________ Be prepared.
