Smile C++ debugger and editor

Hi! All:
New to linux. I have been a Microsoft slave all my life until last Sunday when I
finally installed fedora. It's so cool!
Now I have a simple question, Can somebody recommend me a very good
C++ debugger as well as an editor? I use Visual C++ and Textpad on my XP.
They are OK, The gedit seems fine, but it lacks some sophisticated functions I used
to use in Textpad(like you cannot highlight several lines and press tab to indent them
together). Oh, BTW, Please let it be free. I am poor man ...

Thank you!

click it from window I got an error message say no application is associated with
rpm file.
