C Compiler not found


When ever i am trying to install New SW i am getting message C compiler not found.pls help me .How i can install C Compiler and is there any other packages to install to support it.
Help me Pls........

open yum and search for gcc and install that package

1) insert the FC2 CD

2) change your dir into RPMS

3) rpm -ivh gcc*.rpm --aid

I am not able to install fedora Core-2 in My machine with SATA HDD . Its giving Massege Like "No Hard disk found"
Pls help me...

what distro are you using then? what do you mean? you need to install gcc, so use your package manager or download the source and install gcc
