burning cd: buffer overflows in the OS??

Hello, I want to burn a cd-r using "X-CD-Roast 0.98alpha15" program and I am confused, because I have built a session using file with long filename, and I'm wondering whether I can ignore this warnings:

------------------------
Warning: creating filesystem that does not conform to ISO-9660.
Warning: ISO-9660 filenames longer than 31 may cause buffer overflows in the OS.
mkisofs 2.0.3 (i686-pc-linux-gnu)
38304
Total extents scheduled to be written = 38304
-------------------------

and the filename that makes this warning is: "OOo_1.1.0_LinuxIntel_install.tar.gz"
