One more question.
I installed kde but most of my apps like my burn software, my printer manager and dont know what else if there is havent got to explore that mcuh are gnome?

Im looking for mandrake right now and just want to surf through others.

If yu want to download the ISO's for mandrake try

Ermm.. didn't quite understand that other question.

okay i installed kde desktop, but most of the apps like the app for my burn is gnome and my printer manager is gnome. why is this? i installed kde not gnome

Redhat may prefer Gnome to KDE thats all. So it has all Gnome packages. or it may be the way you installed, to be hoest I don't know.

As for RPMS daft me didn't check the KDE site

http://download.kde.org/download.php...RedHat/9/i386/

If you download some of these rpms (You probably have base)

graphics networking multimedia etc.. will give you a good chunck of the programs for KDE. Goto www.kde.org theirs an application menu on the right hand side which lists whats in the packages.
