Burning a bootable image to a CD

Hi all
I have compiled a bootable image (made by mkisofs) but now I cannot use cdrecord to burn it becasue of a trouble in my scsi-cdwriter.I have a ide-cdwriter too,and I need a simple and fast solution for burning this image.
I also tried Nero for this job but the resulted CD cannot mount /dev/ram0 !!
(the cd burned with the same image by cdrecord -pad -data ... by scsi-cdwriter has no problem)
can you help me please?
thanks.
