Burn 4 gb ISO into multi CD-R's

Hi , I was wondering if theres a way to Burn a 4 gb ISO file into Multiple CD'rs. and what software to use. I've tried a few file splitters so it'll rejoin into the original file once i go to install it. But instead of it spliting into a few ISO's it splits into a (SH**Load of Small files. ) anyone have any info on this ?

HOW did you split it?

man split should be able to chop it up into chunks
that then need to be burned using mkisofs (or your
favourite graphical frontend) ...

Cheers,
