building kernel package failed in pcs?


hi all,

i hae installed metrowerks pcs 3.0 for porting Ep8248 bsp to linux .
in the target wizard of pcs (tw),if i create and build a project it is giving following error

Building modules, stage 2.
make -rR -f /home/devel/project/test/build/rpmdir/BUILD/linux-2.6/scripts/Makefile.modpost
make: *** [modules] Segmentation fault
Died at /opt/Embedix/emb-bin/emb_build line 160.
build_package: suwrapper fakeroot emb_build --projectdir /home/devel/project/test --pkg kernel failed

can any one please tell me what is the problem possibly a solution.
