Here's a funny one: If I go to log out from XFCE (suspend/hibernate/log off/shut down) with firefox expanded in the window, it buggers up the firefox menus. Bookmarks won't stay down, etc and the only solution is a reboot of firefox.
i don't even have to suspend - just hit that green icon that brings up the "do you want out?" menu. Where do I report that bug? Firefox or xfce?
Yes, that would be good. That article isn't much use, thx. I don't have tools/options*in linux, I have edit/preferences (and about:config), and the setup seems quite different. Graphics accel is not an option. I did try toggling layers acceleration in the about:config, but it didn't shift the problem.
Interesting.
I had 15.0.1 on one box and 16.0.1 on another. 15.0.1 only occasionally showed the issue, but 16.0.1 had it every time.
So I grabbed the latest slackware 17.0.1 and it's Edit/Preferences and I do have that hidden there in the Advanced/General. Even there on 16.0.1, but removing acceleration doesn't make a blind bit of difference. I'll update the versions anyhow. Thanks for idea
