bug in RH9?

I cannot associate an icon with an application. Everytime i do it works once then goes back to the other application. Does anyone know if this is a known bug in RH9?

What do you mean when you say this?

Is is for shortcuts, or generally associating icons so that particular application always open with that icon? I have done both and it works for me. Why don't you elaborate on what you did...
